Rugby and More Golf

On Saturday we went to Murrayfield Stadium to watch Scotland's rugby team demolish Italy in the 6 Nations rugby championship. Good fun - the game is a cousin to American football, but with much more continuous action and much fewer pads.

Today, David, Zejun, and I rented a car and headed across the Firth of Forth to the Kingdom of Fife, home to St. Andrews. After checking out the town and the Old Course, we headed south to play Lundin Links, on the shore of the Firth. Another really terrific layout...and for only £20 with lunch included, I don't think you'll find a better golf value anywhere. Had my best round of the year so far - an 84 with a quintuple bogey 9 on the front. Had a 37 coming in...with a couple of missed eagle putts on a par 5 and a short par 4.
